My Marbeling Project !

Just a couple more marbeling questions.

1. Can I use a metallic thread "a" as a base coat color and add my marbeling on top of the thread or will the thread soak up too much epoxe and not be effective or should I just plan on using a pigment as the base color?

2.Can I use testors paint for all of my marbeling ?

Any do's or dont's are appreciated.

Thanks again,
Tom

Yes and Yes

Do's --- JUST DO IT!

Dont's-- Don't be afraid to try.

Seriously Tom, you can't mess anything up. If you don't like how it's comming out just wipe it off I start over.
The only waste is a litte epoxy & pigment.

Eventually, all things merge, and a river runs through it..

Tom, If you haven't already started marbling, you may want to seal the threads with a coat of clear finish first. That way if you want to wipe of your attempts and start over, the colors won't be down in the threads.
