Dark Green texaluminum grip?

I have a client that has requested a Green rod.
As part of the equation, he wishes a Green Tennessee style handle using texaluminum.

I see that one of the sponsors on the left has this material, but I can't find it in the dark green that he is looking for.

I think that if I could find one of the American tackle green grips, that would be about right.

He wishes it in the smaller size - i.e. about .8 inches od.

Thanks for any help.

Roger

if you can get a silver in that size then you may be able to tint some finish and apply over it. I have had some good results recently with lightly tinting epoxy

Hi Roger,
We have the Batson Gloss Green Tennessee handles in kits or tube only.
However, they are 1" OD, .970 ID.
We also have the spin seats themselves with Green Graphite inserts in sizes 16, 17, 18 in stock.
Give us a call, they are not all on our web site.

Best wishes,
Ron Schneider

Mudhole may still have some of the black forest green graphite tube in the two sizes Ron mentioned that was made by Lamiglas. More like a dark hunter green.

Tennessee Handle Material and Texalium are different products. Lamiglas part numbers are THT980 for the large tube. Call Anglers Workshop, they can get it for you in green in the smaller size from Lamiglas next door. Price on the material has skyrocketed and rumor has it that colored Tennessee Handle tubing isn't going to be around much longer (Last I heard Mudhole still had some). Texalium is a bit different in that if you scratch it, silver will show through.

Roger, If you can't get the small diameter material I have some green in the .980 OD. Send me an e-mail and I'll cut you a couple pieces.

Thank you whoever you are

A few months ago I talked to Angler's Workshop about some colored graphite tube, they told me Lamiglas no longer made it. I bought some of the merlot colored material from Mudhole a little over a month ago at the old price, Todd at that time appeared to have a bit of all the colors and sizes.
