Suggestions are welcomed for a blank to make a light surf plugging rod. I would prefer one-piece or offset two-piece and like to toss from one to two ounce plugs. I think a nine footer is enough for what I want.
At one time I had the heavier of the GUSA Surf Assassins and it was Perfect! I will assume these are no more and hope to find something similar. Any help is appreciated. Re: Surf Assassins?

GUSA should be back up and running soon... New owner and I have no idea what they are going to make from the GUSA line up. Other then that I can say that the Lamiglas GSB108 1m is a good choice. I'm building giving a try to two Seeker blanks I picked up..CSW1008 and CSW908. Neither one feel like a composite blanks at all. The 1008 reminds me of my All Star 1266. Re: Surf Assassins?

Barry CUI make a great blank 9' 1pc. 20 to 40lb class 1 to 4oz lure wght. Blanks come in black or yellow or you could order them Matte. Strong, light and work great on the surf. F090. Try 'em you won't be disappointed. Rod, Reels and 18 wheels. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
