Does anybody have a blank cross reference data base for rod blanks? It would be great to say be able to punch in the parameters for a certain rod and have a blank comparison available. For instance , put in Seeker sh804 and be able to see what else is available for that class in a Cal Star or Batson or whatever. I have an old Ande Cortez 12-30 # 7' med. that I love for Hali drifting. I'd like to find a comparable blank with out having to send for all the different manufacturers catalogs.

No such thing exists and because no 2 companies use the same system for quantifying action and power, it's not likely to ever exist. A Loomis 4 power is not the same power as a Seeker 4 power. A fast action Lamiglas blank may be faster than a fast action Castway blank. Only length can be counted on for across the board comparisons.
The Common Cents Data Site (link to the left) is the closet thing going but even then, only a tiny fraction of the available blanks have been recorded. .................... Re: For all the Tech guys
