Ok this is just a follow up on the post I made on Friday about the old bamboo rod(pole) that my neighbor gave me.He says that it;s about 100 years old.Tom K backed it up.
I was able to get the rest of the pics up.Thanks to thoes who posted on how to( a big thanks).
Is what I;m looking for now from thoes bamboo rod builders is some information on the rod,and where the builder would get the bamboo to build the rod? Also would like to see a picture of a reel that they may have been used on the rod back then.My neighbor tried to tell me ,but I didn't quite understand what he was discribing.Any help here would be appreciated.
Hoping to get to next years expo.Would like to bring it along and put in the show case if Tom is going to have them again.I think some might be interested in seeing it. Its a wall hanger now!!
So that a look(thanks)<<<<DON>>>>

Fran Park-- Would you email me please. My email is not hidden--Thanks.

I have some reels that would be over 100 years old and which would have likely been used on such a rod. I'll try to take a photo and put it up early this coming week.
