Have any of you used any of these blanks yet and if so what do you think of them?

I am building a MBX 700 L and an MBX S700 L right now. They seem like very nice blanks. I'll be getting a few for personal use!

I wasn't very impressed with them. With all the talk about them I figured they would be much nicer!

Tell us a little more, John. What was unimpressive or a let down on them? For the price, how do they compare to others?

I did not build on one, After some talk about them on other forums I went and checked them out. To me they seemed to be just a cheap made blank. For the type of graphite used they seemed very light and to me It's kind of a like they are a skimpy like blank. I hear all kinds of things about how light they are and how strong but for me it's a trust thing. For what they are they aren't all that cheap $$ wise. I think one could buy a better made blank for the $$. IMO there are better priced blanks out there that the quality is much better. The actions didn't turn me on either! When I compared to other brands I felt that the other brands actions where more suited for the intended job. I feel like I'm bashing and that's not my intention but I was not impressed! I normally say you get what you pay for but I think with these you pay for and don't get. Yet people love them so Maybe I'm way off.
