Rod Bond lumpy !

The Resin in the last 2 batches of Rod Bond I purchased has been very lumpy or grainy. It is hard to mix and get a good smooth consistency.
The Hardener is fine. I actually have to mash the lumps out of the Resin to get a good mixture. Was wondering if anyone else has this problem. Also, would it hurt to nuke for a few seconds, will that smooth up the consistency ?

Nuke it for 5-10 seconds at a time depending on how full it is, then mix 'til they're gone. It'll be just fine.

Nukeing is good for short time periods.

JB,
Take the sealed containers and place in semi hot - about 170 degree water for about 30 minutes.
After getting the containers nice and warm - do an excellent job in mixing up the contents of each container.
As a result of the nice heating, you will have good glue for a long time.

Often, freeze thaw cycles, or long storage time can cause the glue to crystilize and separate. Warming the mix - either via a hot water heat source or a microwave oven will eliminate the crystals and allow the epoxy to recombine.

Take care
Roger
