Hi folks,
does anybody have some experience with the current fly blank lineup and know "how they are"? Also comments about the factory build rods I would appreciate if somebody had the chance to touch / wiggle / fish them. Especially the XLS and ICT found my attention but I was not able to find anything about them... Rgds, Ole Re: Experience with current Composite Developments fly blank lineup

Hi Lal,
I am located most time in Moscow/Russia. Usually I mail order to an address in Germany. I am interested in the characteristics of the blanks/rods of that specific lines how they react and so on. This is the reason why I wrote that I am also interested in infos about ready made rods. If additional infos available even better. What made is a little suspicious is that they deliver the ready made rods with two tips but blanks just with one tip. Regards from Moscow, Ole Re: Experience with current Composite Developments fly blank lineup

I have 3 of the CTS fly blanks, each from a different series. They're nice. The only problem is that they have so many series you'll have a hard time deciding which to go with.

Russia eh, guess that would make it a touch difficult to visit my local tacklo in Sydney Australia who stocks em. I think your best bet would be to contact any information surces in New Zealand Re: Experience with current Composite Developments fly blank lineup

Hi Lal,
if you know the rods you could desribe them comparing them with other rods which are mor eknown to the broader public. It is absolutely clear to me that the chances to get one into my hands her in Russia or on vacation in Germany, Denmark is almost zero. Did anyone cast an XLS / extreme line speed or an ICT / intuitive casting taper? Rgds, Ole Re: Experience with current Composite Developments fly blank lineup

Sorry Ole
I have never played with their fly range. All I know is there are some hanging on the wall at my local tackle shop. If I do visit them coming weekend then I will try to compare with anything else they have in in stock, it will only be an opinion on how they feel to me though and I am no authority on fly gear. The guys on this link might be able to help as this brand is their local [www.flyshop.co.nz] Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
