Call or Email Batson that will be your fastest way to get the information. They have an updated price sheet and catalog parts section also. Re: texilium handles

For reference -- Texilium is a Batson product and Texalium is a Lamiglas product. The Batson Texilium tubing only comes in one size outside diameter - 1.05, with a inside diameter of .970. and the color is silver only. The Lamiglas Texalium tubing comes in silver and a variety of colors. Texalium also comes in two sizes - one that is 1.05 outside with a inside of .980 and another size tubing of .950 outside and .874 inside. Both Batson and Lamiglas offer caps and trim rings for their tubing. We carry both lines of products by each company, along with the woven, carbon fiber tubing.

Mike,
In addition, the classic eva is quite easy to shape on a lathe. So, if you want to get some different end caps or fore grips, it is quite easy to obtain matching, or contrasting eva and turn your own caps and or fore grips. An easy way to turn a butt cap is to use a fixed shaft on a rotating motor. This might be a grinder, drill press, or even a stand a lone motor with a drill chuck fitted to the end of the motor. Then, one can simply insert a shaft into the end of the chuck and tighten it up. Buuild up the shaft with masking tape to get to the diameter of the inner diameter of any block you want to shape. Take a piece of material - eva or anything else and cut it a bit larger than your final cap. Use a drill press with a fostner bit installed to drill a flat bottom hole in the material of the size of the inner diameter of the butt cap. Press the material onto the end of the built up shaft. If the material is softer, like rubber or eva, you can start with coarse sandpaper or even a stanley surform planer to get the rough shape of the butt cap. Then, use finer grades of sandpaper to get the final shape and finish needed for the butt cap. The explaining takes much longer than the actual creation of the cap. By using this technique, you have no holes through the end of the cap, and by using a set of calipers or micrometer, you can get the inner diameter, outer diameter, and depth to the exact dimensions needed. Good luck. Roger Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
