mylar tubing overlays?

I have been tying some crease flies with a braided mylar overlay. I'm too lazy/cheap to experiment, so I'll ask. How does a pearlescent braided mylar tubing overlay look epoxied over a marbeling job, or over a snakeskin overlay?

Hi Phil,

I don't know about the marbeling or snakeskin question.

But a good mate of mine has been using it to dress up a few rods lately and also use it as an underbind substitute.

The end result looks fantastic. Need to choose colours carefully, but othe than that the rods look great.

Try it on some marbeling and let us know.

Paul

For the price of the tubing it can't hurt to try it yourself and see how it looks.
