I have a friend that wants a rod built and would like to know if a small Police shield can be inlayed on the EVA grip ??? Im sure not but I told him I would get back to him... I was thinking about doing a section of the grip in cork then inlaying the shield and applying epoxy....As I assume
this is not the case with the eva.

Fernando, both of the above pictures were done for an FDNY guy, which I put his number into teh center. I could have put FD and NY on it, but what I expected to take me 2 hours, took me 4 - the numbers are VERY difficult to do, as are letters. HE didnt' care.

How large is the shield? I'm going to start playing with casting stuff in Acryllic for such projects & requests, similar to what JP Timberlake is doing with reel seat inserts.

Its a small pin badge that they normally were on the collar of their suits....Sort of like the pins they give out at the sstadiums..

Might be able to inlay that into teh butt cap, or cast in acrylic and make into a reel seat insert (which is a lot easier to type than to do). YOu probably could route out a piec eof the cork and fit it in, like a Bernie COhen grip inlay and epoxy it into place.

I was thinking about putting it on the butt cap...Which at this point seems to be the easiest to do.....
