what few brain cells i have are not working right now,
I have a blank that i think is a forcast the tag says SWR MB843 10-17# MH too many blanks and numbers i seem never to keep them straight. thanks. this will be my second expo, and i am very much looking forward to it. expierence update; just built my 5th rod, second spiral, first with single thread trim bands. each rod looks better than the last, i only have one problem I keep forgetting to wash my hands and end up with one or two wrappings that the finish will fisheye on. That is one of the blanks that Swampland had at the show last year, I built 2 rods on that blank and they turned out quite nice. I believe they were made by Shikari, they are not the lightest blanks you will find, but they are very durable and quite powerful. Re: blank id help

this rod finished weighs 4.9oz.. 8 fugi guides and tip top, split reel seat and 8" butt grip. this one has not been shown to anyone for comments yet.
rod prior to that was same mfg. but medium lite instead of medium heavy, finish weight on it was 3.2oz. first comment i got on this one was how lite it was and it would cast a country mile. (big head on my part right there) still a long way from having one i would post on here, but i am getting there. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
