Ok, got home last night and took guide wrap off. Filed down guide foot to remove hump to a very sharp taper.....the thread climbed right up the foot with no markable transition! Looks 100% better than my first attempt. Thanks for "teh" advice and keep the tips coming!!!!! Brent Glover/Washington NC

My 1st build here is from a Mudhole Kit....Fuji guides......wrapped the first one and the "hump" at the foot of the guide gave me some trouble.....had to double back to basically build a ramp to allow the thread to climb....was worried about how it would finish so i posted for some tips a few days ago.....had many great responses.....cut wrap off and filed down guide until sharp, wrap flowed seamlessly up the guide foot and now looks great. Thanks.
