Quick query on Micro Guide

There's been NUMEROUS posts on micro guides. I did some searches but did not find what I needed. Apologies in advance for starting another thread.

Does anyone have photos of the Fuji and Batson micro guides side by side? Love to get a sense of the ID sizes.

Thanks,
Mo

I've had good experience with both, but the Fuji look more light and clean for the same size guide. Mo, I gather that you are like me in your affinity for UL stuff on high-end blanks. I would use the Fuji Alconite if you can afford a few $$ more.

The Fuji's have a thinner ring and the pressed frame. Looks neater/cleaner, and the ring opening is wider. However, the Batson's stand higher. I am going to try the Fujis, seeing as I pass a lot of leader knots in my fishing.

THANKS to everyone. Actually have had the Fuji SICs for our micro about 2 years ago when these became available in the US. For some reason, I thought for the same sized ID, the Batsons are actually smaller/lighter but apparently not.

I did not know Fuji made Alconite in the micros. I've no idea how small they make it. Will have to check.

Thanks a bunch!
Mo

I think they go down to BLAG4. I just got some from Bob at Custom Tackle for an SC566MLF and they are light. Ted is right that the Batsons stand higher, but I would never use a guide that small unless it was spinning or spiral-wrapped casting so height is not needed for me.
