Another project I've got on the list is a new musky rod, I've been looking to go with something over 7'6".
The 7'10" ISWB945 looks like a candidate for a nice all purpose muskie rod. Any thoughts/comments on this series of blanks?? How does the blend of RX7, RX6 and glass take place? Where does the glass come into play? Thanks, Andrew Re: Rainshadow Swim-bait Blanks for Musky

If you are not throwing over 2 oz. the IMB 944 (RX 7) is a very nice blank at 7' 10" Re: Rainshadow Swim-bait Blanks for Musky

I have built an IMB 944 and use it for bass/ muskie swimbaits up to 2 ounces, and also throw bucktails and topwater on it for muskies. It handles all of these baits well. It is also reasonably priced... Re: Rainshadow Swim-bait Blanks for Musky
