Old Gudebrod thread

Over the years i've accumalated a lot of spools of thread, most thrown in a drawer thinking that one of these days i'll use it. Since rediscovering them, i've been trying to organize all of it and have come across a lot of gudebrod thread that is no longer in production (or at least is not on the current color chart). all i have are the numbers and was hoping to find out the names of the colors.

i checked gudebrod's and some of the sponsor's sites and didn't find anything. Does anyone know of a web site that might be helpful? or have any of the old color charts?

as an example i've a ight green that is marked #390, a dark grey #10084 and a light blue #230.

thanks for any help

The 230 thread is a very nice color.... Much more vivid than the 037 Sky Blue....

358 is Bright Green ... I am not sure on the other, but it really doesn't matter too much - you can't reorder it.

Use 'em up. The rods they go on will be truly unique, because no one will be able to duplicate the thread colors again.

Was over Rich Schwarz's house today, he pulled out some 230 Blue on a wood spool, as well as a NEon Green& even better, Neon pink. It's a shame they discontinued those colors, and still sold Peach, probably the worst color in history.

the 230 blue is really pretty cool. I found it at the bottom of one of my drawers and since it's no longer in production, i think i'll save it for myself. This is one color, along with the powder blue 037, that i wish they would bring back.
