Thought that I would pass this along to thoes that work in tight or small area like I do.Don't have alot of room and some what cramped at times.
When working on extra long rods that hang off the end of my work bench,I have always had to block the end of the rod with the back of my stool. However that didn't stop the rod from wobbling.
So I came up with this.-- I bought a telescopic pole that is used for a washing brush,--(1) 1"x1"x1/2" tee with the top portion already cut off from Home Depot.Took the tee and glued a piece of flet in the center. I had an aluminum jack stand that I used for my pop-up camper.I removed the center screw rod, and incerted the telescopic pole.I swrewed the tee on the pole, and now I have that extra hand to help with the longer rods. It's light and portable and can be moved around where ever need be.Also easy storeing out of the way.
By going with the telescopic pole I can use it easily with my power wrapper or my hand wrapper.
I have taken some pictures of it and my wife put them in a file in the computer. Now if I only can figure out how to put them on the photo page from the file. That's like asking me to fly the space shuttle.I'm not to good with electronics!!!

Good Day<<<<DON>>>>

Don,
Thanks for the update.
I hadn't read your post before asking my questions.
Thanks again for the clarification.

Roger-Your email address is hidden so I couldn't email you direct. You had asked the size of the stand in your post? The stand is 10" tall the base is 7"x7".I picked five of them up at a yard sale for $5.00.
Four for my camper, one for my boat trailer until I bought a trailer jack.I don't throw things away, so this came to use for my rod stand!!!<<<<DON>>>>
