Any word on the fate of Hastings/GUSA?
I noticed the Mudhole stock of GUSA blanks getting sparse. Re: Hastings/GUSA

What are you looking for? They are currently out of business, and I have no idea if anyone else is going to take over. I certainly hope so. Re: Hastings/GUSA

It is sad to see them go. They made some very good blanks that no one else really came close to offering. Re: Hastings/GUSA

I am going to put together some snook spinning rods and I was thinking about something a little heavier than the B78L. Getting freight trained into the pilings seems to be the way they fight, so something with more backbone is needed.
That stinks that they went under, having just moved and all that. Re: Hastings/GUSA

I have a couple of B70M and B70H's left. I also have the SW70M and SW70LM. I'm also running low. I still hope someone will take over adn at least produce teh DHX blanks here in the US. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
