My moderators have brought to my attention the fact that a couple or three of the board users here are overlooking the rule about advertising commercial product/service websites without being a sponsor.

I've always allowed custom builders, who were not in the business of selling blanks and/or components or anything else, to list their custom rod websites in their posts and signatures. But that's the limit - if you sell anything other than custom rods, i.e. tackle, components, lures, guide services, taxidermy, etc., then you may not post your commercial website URL in your posts or in your signature. You are welcome to ask me about a sponsorship, of course. That would be the fair and proper way to advertise your business here.
