Threadmaster - color or clear?

At my last visit to Anglers I was thinking of grabbing a Threadmaster Lite kit to compare to using Diamondite. I ended up not doing that as I found other things I really couldn't do without. Anyhow, I noticed with both the High Build and the Lite product that some of the kits had yellow hardener instead of clear. Is there any long term difference? Re: Threadmaster - color or clear?

No. All hardeners tend to amber a little over time. Most people report that Threadmaster is clearer, or ambers less, than most other epoxies. LS Supreme High Build is good in that regard as well.

So fresher supplies of Threadmaster will not have yellow hardener? Re: Threadmaster - color or clear?

No, but it won't matter, within a few weeks they'll also turn slightly amber. In the bottle or on the rod. But this is so slight in the thin finish coat you're not apt to notice it.
