Quality EVA

I am looking for some quality EVA to build a couple of deep jigging rods. The last batch I used was a bit soft which made shaping quite easy. However, it did not stand up to use very well. Please advise.

I have found pacific Bay EVA to be good. Lasts very well on hard used rods and the new batches appear to be very firm and dense.

Terry

By far, the toughest and best quality EVA I have encountered is the Super Support stuff available from Matagi. It is very dense and shapes well. If you use 120 grit screen, you get a nice finish. It is very firm and does not dent easily.

Cheers
Chris

Thanks. Does any of our sponsors carry these two types of EVA?

You might want to ask Lance Dupree where their EVA is from. It is very dense, much better than any other EVA I have tried.
