Can perma gloss be put over a fish decale without any damage?Do you need color preserver first?

Do not put Permagloss anywhere near a decal! The xylene solvent in Permagloss will permeate CP, finish, etc. I learned the hard way-ruined a decal.

A coat of color preserver should protect it.

I have done peel and stick decals with color preserver and Permagloss, but never a waterslide. Even though you can use Permagloss if you use color preserver the end results are not very pleasing, you will never get a smooth glassy finish.

I have covered many a waterslide with PG after using Flex Coat CP with no problems. I have ruined many bare decals with PG.
