Does anyone know if any of the sponsors here carry batsons new high end split grips? And if any one has seen then, how are they?

Utmost carries pretty much everything that Batson's offers, or they can go next door and get it.

Fishsticks4U is also a big Batson's dealer and you can talk to them about any of their products. I know other sponsors carry the line but these are the 2 I deal with primarily for those products.

We just got some of the new high end cork grips in, they are a very nice "Super" grade cork with the new High Density dark brown composite cork ends.
We have so far the 2", 21/2" foregrips, 4.5" casting grip, 7" casting grip, and the 2" all cork butt ends with tang to fit the new, "semi-ball flared end High Density dark brown butt cap.
The half and full well fly grips are also in, they not only have the dark composite ends, but also a very nice trim band inserted near each end.
We hope to have all these on our web site shortly.
Please email us for more info or prices.

Best wishes,
Ron Schneider

I will build (2) of these shortly. Can I get recommendations for reels?
I am a total newbie on baitcasters.
All brands are acceptable.
Thanks

Oops I see I put down exposed spin seat I meant exposed trigger seat LOL...

Reels: I really love the Quantum TE1171PT a bit on the heavy side but fast as they come and smooooth for now! We will see how many more 20-40# King salmon and Steelhead she can withstand.

The Chronarch 101BSV has been flawless as well.

Both models listed are left hand models so just drop the 1 and add a 0 instead for the right hand.
