Question on Seeker composite blanks

I was reading a previous post about Seeker comosite blanks and I like the idea of a lightweight stout graphite butt with a softer E-Glass upper section but the only blanks from Seeker like this that I could find are the Bass type blanks. Does Seeker or anyone else make a composite blank suitable for Salmon/Steelhead in the 1/4 - 1/2 oz range or so? Thanks.

Seeker offers the same type construction in the CLB Live Bait series. Other than that you'd have to check with them on whether or nor any other models are offered in that same configuration.

Take a look at the Lamiglas TF90-15. IF 7'6" is long enough, OR if adding a small extension would make it long enough, it is a great blank. Although, it is listed in the Kayak section ... it is a Tri-Flex blank design. A continuous fabric (tip to toe) of layered glass and graphite - kind of like a Dagwood sandwich. The lure range is 1/4-1.0 and I can assure you that it is PLENTY durable.

Seeker blanks that are designated CLB, CJB, CTS, CSB, CSJ, CBS, CSW,AND CBW are all composite blanks. The Super Seeker composite blanks are designated by the SS and then the CLB, CJB, CTS. All of these may have an F on one side of the blank number such as CJBF 60 and then a line rating designation such as CJBF 60 H. The F indicates a fast taper. The H, 40 to 60 lb., XH 60 lb., XXH 80 lb., XXXH 100 lb, and XXXXH 130 lb,. If the F apears on the right side of the equation such as CJB 70 F it indicates a fast tip. We manufacture around 600 different blanks so if you can't find what you want you might try calling to see what we do have in stock. We do not sell to the public but your supplier can order what you need from us.

Hi Tim,

Jim Upton has great advice in the last sentence of his post. Many times I have called Seeker directly and every time they have come thru for me. I have to say when I called them I was looking for a rainbow with a pot of gold. The folks at Seeker could not do enough for me. My distributor then sends me what I need from Seeker.
