Whats the difference in this and EVA - other than being lighter? Denser/less dense structure? Is it water absorbent? Seems softer than EVA - again density related?
Anyone know a source? (it's what's on the diawa steez) Re: Air Foam

Softer, but hardier. Check the Glossary page for more specifics. Yes it can be shaped.

Excuse me, my mistake. I read "hypalon" from the earlier post. Not sure what "air foam" is but probably a company product name for a type of urethane foam or something along those lines. Perhaps just their own brand of EVA.

Is it possible it is teh same stuff which Matagi sells? His EVA is definitely different than teh standard EVA we get here. Lighter and harder when compared to Mooseskin. Re: Air Foam

Air Foam looks to be a proprietary EVA that Daiwa uses. It's lighter, firmer than regular EVA.
Matagi Super Support EVA is very similar stuff, mey be the same. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
