Wonder Weaver Markings

When adding visual markings to the foam slots on a Wonder Weaver in order to help find the slots to help speed things up, what do the pro's use for pens or markers...(I'm sure its in Jim Uptons book, but for the life of me, I CAN"T FIND MY COPY) I made a mess of Billy's "NERBS loaner"WonderWeaver by using a standard BIC pen.......extra fine Sharpie?

Side note....Memorial weekend pre-bash, we get into a juggling contest in the neighborhood...I spot a kid with skillz, and hand him 3 - #12 Fuji hardaloys and 2- Batson "Blues" to see if he can do his thing with very small objects.......................try juggling 5 small guides this Memorial Day weekend!!! ! Stay safe,,,have fun!

Is that what all those Red & blue blotches are? I fix blotches in my Dec WRaps, and I end up with them on my Wonder Weaver.

I use the extra fine pens but usually only put a dot for the slots between the red and blue lines. 0,10, 20, 30 etc. are a red line. 5, 15, 25 etc are a blue line. You can clean off excess with alcohol.

I put a picture in the photo section to illustrate.

I use extra fine Sharpies. Black line across the etire slot for every 5 then short lines for every slot. Interesting what Jim said about the alcohol clean up. I made some mistakes doing mine but then after cleaning up I realized the alcohol clean up left thin lines on each slot and when it all dried they were permanent and made it a snap to re-mark everything darker. I also wrote the numbers on every 5 slots on the side of the wheels(all three)

Thanks Doc...I think on the NERBS loaner weaver I used a standard Bic pen which was a mistake.
