I saw the slide show but did not see any article to go along with it. Was this just the photo captions or is there more?

Absolutely awesome, and giving our art some more recognition and coverage. I can't help feeling the same amazement every time I see those pieces of work. Inspiring, and a great tribute to the featured craftsmn and artists.

Congratulations to all of you. You are great ambassadors for the craft of rod building. As Billy says though there are others of you out there who also do outstanding work also. If you read the article closely, Ric wants others to send their work in also and he plans to show another installment with more pics. Send your work in. There is a lot of you on this board and others that do great work. It is a chance to showcase our craft and your work to millions of outdoor sports enthusiasts.

Ric (Eric) had contacted me a couple months back about helping him with project. I provided names and in many cases photos. I sent a lot more than he used and I believe the first installment was mostly for thread work. But there is much more to come. Stay tuned.

That is good to hear; maybe piece by piece people will get to read the whole story on custom rods.
Field and Stream's subscription base is approximately 10 million so it amounts to a great bit of exposure.
