Will a 10" section of straight hypalon with an 11/16 ID fit onto a blank that is
1 1/8 OD at the butt, or do I need a piece of hypalon with a larger ID? Thanks for your advice. Re: hypalon question

It'll go on, but you might not be happy with the grip's O.D. once installed. It could be 1-3/4" or more. 7/8" I.D. will probably end up a little over 1-1/2" O.D. installed, and 1" I.D. hypalon would be less than 1-1/2" installed. Unless you're looking to use a piece of 11/16 that you have on hand, the larger ID's will install a lot easier and won't be quite so "porky" once installed. Make sure that the blank is over 1" in diameter where the rear grip will meet the seat before you order 1" ID material.
