Color suggestions for root beer LM90

Hello, ladies and gentlemen. I'm looking for some thread color suggestions for a Super Seeker root-beer colored LM90 saltwater jig blank, 9 footer. I tend to like "old school" colors, and as I am told that this blank is sort of like a Truline LM90, I wonder if any of you would have any suggestions as to appropriate thread colors? I've never wrapped on this color blank. I know I'll get some great suggestions here, as always.

Thanks in advance to anybody with an idea to share.

It's hard to find a blank that garnet doesn't look good on.

I have done a build on a root beer color blank, I used Burgundy with metallic copper trim. The colors looked really good together. Yes garnet looks great also. <<<<DON>>>>

All of these sound great. I wish I could find a picture of an old Truline and see how they used to wrap them! lol I saw a good color yesterday, not necessarily for this blank, at the Rod show out here. It was PacBay "Salmon", and it looked just like coral, or how I would describe coral. I think it would make a dynamite color with teal, for example, for an old school look on a saltwater rod. With garnet, burgandy, etc., copper would certainly look great. Also, can't go wrong with yellow or white with that, I'd imagine.

If it's anything like the Lamiglas Certified Pro rootbeer, try Chestnut thread - with cp on the ferrules and hookkeeper/logo area and without cp for the guide wraps. The contrast really looks sharp.
