After many inquiries about this blank at the High Point show we made a special purchase of them.
This is the 13' 0" blank designed for Red Drum Tackle, the only difference is that instead of a Texalium handle section we have had it made with a woven carbon handle which will add less weight and give greater hoop strength. This blank has been referred to as the "1502MH on Steroids'. It is rated 30-60 lb., 8-20 oz. Lure. With a top size of 9 and a Butt OD of .942". It has a Parallel butt so positioning a size 24mm seat anywhere on it you like isn't a problem. The retail on this price is $345.00 and there are several already sold and others of the first run spoken for. They are due to ship from Lamiglas at the end of this week so we should have them available to ship by the end of next week. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about this very talked about blank. Todd [www.mudhole.com] Regards, Todd Vivian Mud Hole Custom Tackle todd@mudhole.com Edited 1 time(s). Hi Todd,
It sounds like it would make a good mid-range rod for Hawaii. The 60# rating is attractive. Is the tip a little more powerful than the GSB 150 2 MH? Mahalo, Don Don Becker Re: Lamiglas GSB1562H-Woven

Don,
it does have a stiffer tip than the 150 with a slimmer profile. Also a very powerful butt. Todd Regards, Todd Vivian Mud Hole Custom Tackle todd@mudhole.com Re: Lamiglas GSB1562H-Woven

Excellent!
It sounds like it will be very capable as a JigMaster class rod. These are usually in the 40 to 50# range and use reels such as Penn GS 555, Torium 30, Newell 338, 344 & 454, and Diawa SHV 40 & 50. I am looking forward to testing one. Mahalo, Don Don Becker Re: Lamiglas GSB1562H-Woven

How does it compare to the GSB1666 one piece...does it carry the same parabolic properties? Re: Lamiglas GSB1562H-Woven

The SB166 is a fiberglass blank and no it is not parabolic like the SB series of glass blanks.
