American Tackle - Home from High Point

Chase and I are back from the show and very much behind tending to business, but I wanted to take a few minutes to express gratitude to Tom and company for organizing another fine event. We feel very fortunate to be able to participate every year and have opportunity to encounter so many genuine enthusiasts. And for that, I thank you Tom.

I want to thank the many fine people who stopped by the booth to look at our products. Your complimentry remarks mean so much to us who put our lives into this endeavor. Joe Meehan was very pleased to hear some highlights and was even more disapointed that he could not attend this year.

I would also like to thank the many builders that were able to comment on some of our new projects. Your feed back is appreciated and will help us complete the new products on the horizon. Before next year you will see new parts and you have to remember us asking you "what do you think about this". Thank you.

Best Regards To All,

Darrin Heim

Darrin Could you guys offer your new fly seat unassembled? I would love to do thread weaves under the ovel opening on your new seat but it only comes with the insert already in. I know others who would love the same. I tryed "boiling" to loosen the epoxy but to no avail. Billy

Hi Guys,

Thank you very much for all the kind words, it really means a lot to us.

Mike, I doubt I will be able to forget your interests but feel free to continue to remind me. I bet we'll be able to fulfull your needs.

Billy, I can check into that. Originally we thought we would offer them unassembled but the glueing might have ended a bit sloppy for some (most likely me) so we thought we would provide more of a completed product witht hem glued. I tried to take one apart as you did, and man did that turn into a mess so I know what you are talking about.

Thanks again for all your comments.

Darrin -

Thanks for entertaining all my questions about guide sizing and placement. I also appreciate your letting me borrow your product display so I could pick out hardware and thread color.

Tony Scott
