Good morning All,
I recently ordered some Gudebrod CP and received a CP that is milkish instead of the normally clear 811. Have any of you tried this new CP from Gudebrod? The reason I'm asking is that I recently tried some new polyester thread and did a test wrap with FlexCoat CP, Swifty CP, and U-40 Color Lock Cp all of which darkened the thread considerably. I then tried some old Gudebrod 811 Cp and it left the thread color intact. I hope to here from any of you who has had experience with the new Gudebrod CP. Thanks for your help.

It has changed over the past year. The best you can do it try some test samples on your own and see how things work out.

We cut the "old" formula with 25% denatured alcohol. We haven't tried the new stuff yet, but we learned the hard way with ALL brands of CP, to do a test every time you open a new bottle.
