Hey Everyone,
Does anyone know which Gudebrod NCP thread best matches the blue zirc rings of the Batson BSUUG guides ? Thanks, Jeff Re: Batson Blue ring guides and Gudebrod

Jeff,
The Blue metallic is sharp with those guide rings as a full wrap or trim. DR Re: Batson Blue ring guides and Gudebrod

Thanks DR, You like the Royal I'm guessing ? Seems like the closest match from what I can tell. Re: Batson Blue ring guides and Gudebrod

We just finished a customer rod using the metallic. It sets off and reflects the blue rings in a very unique fashion when used as a full-length underwrap for each guide.

Here is a picture of a rod I built in 2005 using Batson guides with blue zirc inserts wrapped with Sulky Peacok blue thread and Pewter trim bands [www.rodbuilding.org] Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 01/28/2008 03:38PM by Bob Crook. Re: Batson Blue ring guides and Gudebrod

Jeff;
Another thread for you to look at is the Pacific Bay Metallic thread M100A-AZ "AZUL". I have no idea how they came up with that name, but according to my eyes, AZul is exactly the same as the Batson Blue Zirc guides... right down to the shine. RON.
