Hey Everyone,

Does anyone know which Gudebrod NCP thread best matches the blue zirc rings of the Batson BSUUG guides ?

Thanks, Jeff

Jeff,

The Blue metallic is sharp with those guide rings as a full wrap or trim.

We just finished a customer rod using the metallic. It sets off and reflects the blue rings in a very unique fashion when used as a full-length underwrap for each guide.

Jeff

Here is a picture of a rod I built in 2005 using Batson guides with blue zirc inserts wrapped with Sulky Peacok blue thread and Pewter trim bands [www.rodbuilding.org]

Jeff;
Another thread for you to look at is the Pacific Bay Metallic thread M100A-AZ "AZUL". I have no idea how they came up with that name, but according to my eyes, AZul is exactly the same as the Batson Blue Zirc guides... right down to the shine.

RON.
