Just a real quick question. I am at the last step. I am about to finish the guide wraps. The contrast threads have been finished and the top wrap is done and the pull out thread has been pulled. I am using Black(nylon) and Gold metallic under wrap. Top wrap is black (nylon). I used CP on the underwrap, and my question is do I use CP for the top wrap??? My butt wrap turned out good if a little subdued, but its been a while since I finished that part. (darned deer hunting) and I just can't remember if I used CP on the top wrap...
Any thoughts please...Will there be a significant difference either way? Thanks in advance... Jeff Re: Tiger Wrap Help

If black is your top thread, it won't make any difference - it will be the same color with or without CP.

If you applied Flec Coat CP you will know it when done. It will have tiny tiny white flecks in it and will look like he Milky Way on a dark clear night. That particular wrap will deepen in color and pattern when the finish hits the top coat. You will like it more when the finish in the gaps causes the effect to take control. Re: Tiger Wrap Help
