Just posted photos of my first Holographic Wrap.
My sympathy goes out to Bill Colby and Scott Throop for the many back breaking hours and headaches incurred in developing these processes. But most of all,, My thanks guys. They are beautiful when finished. [www.rodbuilding.org] J.B.Hunt Bowling Green, KY Re: First Holographic Wrap

Is this the same technique as a tiger wrap? Re: First Holographic Wrap

Yes actually it is Scott'sTiger wrap. I used a sacrificial thread.
I used Black nylon and Copper Metallic as the under wrap and Medium Brown for the over wrap. Used CP on all of it. Would have been brighter ( if that's the word) if I had used a lighter color with the Black. Would have been better also if I were a better camra man ! J.B.Hunt Bowling Green, KY Edited 1 time(s). yea, the photos are blurry, hard to take photos of those wraps even if you know what your doing
with a camera. I call them T/C wraps now cuz I want to always give Throop/Colby the credit for sharing such a outstanding & FUN wrapping technique. Raymond Adams Eventually, all things merge, and a river runs through it.. Re: First Holographic Wrap

Good Idea Ray ! From now on we should all call them T/C Wraps. Those guys worked hard perfecting those wraps. We need to give them both the credit deserved. J.B.Hunt Bowling Green, KY Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
