I bought some of the 11" cork handles from Mudhole but they didn't come with plugs. It didn't say anything in their advertising so I called them. THey said that the handles didn't come with plugs and they didn't know where I could buy some. THe handles are nice. They are the regular cork and the last inch is a darker cork ............ a friend helped me building a handle and had a plug but I'm going to need at least 9 more ........ does anyone know where I can get some of those darker colored plugs?
Thanks Rick Re: Need cork Plugs for Handles

Richard, It will match the darker end. It's a rubberized cork plug. Re: Need cork Plugs for Handles

You could always inlay a bright new penny in there.

I use cork dust and rod bond glue to close the ends. I also use rubberized cork end caps. If the cork dust is too light colored, add testors paint or dark stain to the cork or glue mixture. Let dry and sand to a smooth end cap. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
