Acrylic Reel Seat

I am in the process of building my 2nd rod and would like to have an acrylic reel seat on it. I don't have a lathe or a way to turn one myself and was wondering where I could get one? Would some one here be interested in turning one for me?

If you are wondering I am building another UL spinning rod from a PAC BAY 3wt blank. IT is the T2F793 blank. I would like a larger reel seat size either 17 or 18 if possible. I am not sure what color options are out there but I would like something in a blueish color. I really like the one Lance Dupre did.

You can email me or reply to this thread if you can help me out with this. Thanks again for all the help.

J P Timberlake makes some really nice ones, and I know he sells them. You can probably reach him on this board, or maybe he's listed in the directory. Do a search for him, and check out his work in Rodmaker V 10 Number 4.

Mud Hole is a sponsor here and they do sell the seats you mention.

If you cannot find the size or style you want, look at [www.tackleworks.org] and find a builder in your area who will do this for you.
