It varies depending on wrap tension and how tight you pack them.

It only takes a minute to wrap a 1/4 in yourself, count, and multiply by 4

Wrap a dowel with each size and count them. You will have to do it several times and take an average because you won't pack them the same each time and your tension may not be the same each time.

FOr a butt wrap.... GUdebrod Nylon A is 3.75 per mm, Madeira Billy40 is 4.15 per mm
