I need a tip with a .288 tube, looks like size 19 (.296) should cover it. The rod has Fuji BSVLG guides so a black frame would be great, I don't really care about ring color, but a 12 ring or larger would be great.
Any ideas???? Tony Re: Need a tip top with a .288 tube

Size 12/18. You might need to hold a piece of scotchbrite on the tip for a few seconds while spinning on the lathe to take some of the finish off but it should match. Re: Need a tip top with a .288 tube

Scott, The existing guide on the rod, this is a rebuild, is really sloppy on the 18 stub on the tip sizer. I think I need to find something closer to a 19. At this point anything resembling a black framed tip with some sort of ceramic/alconite, or even SIC ring would work regardless of manufacturer.
