Rod caught fire

I was hollowing out a fighting butt to insert a decorative metal end piece with my Dremel and a 1/2" drum sander attachment, first I saw lots of nice cork and graphite dust. Then the dust started to look a little smokey and a second later my rod caught fire. Those single speed Dremels are just too fast and your work heats up in an instant.
