Cutting blanks

A little help needed for a relatively new builder. What is the proper way to cut the butt on a graphite blank? I need to cut off approx 1 inch prior to installing the grip and seat. Thanks you. Re: Cutting blanks

A "cut-off" wheel or a 3-sided file are among the best tools to do it. Wrap a piece of masking tape around the blank at that point to use as a straightedge. If you must use a saw, it should be a very fine-tooth type. You do not want to create splinters and raised fibers. ..................... Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
