David Boyle has just posted a photo of his new weaving software and a little of what it can do, on the photo page here.

Builders wanting to take an up close look at the new software and talk to David person can do so at the 2008 ICRBE in February. Dave will also be presenting a seminar on this and VisualWrap for those who already own the programs or those want to know more about them prior to purchasing.

Tom, is there a website or some other place to learn/inquire more about this software?

Thanks,
~Mark

It is on the sponsor list near the very bottom of the column. If you have some sort of third party pop up blocker you are probably not seeing the sponsor column at all. Disable it for this site and they will magically appear.

Tom, would we be correct in assuming that David's appearance at the ICRBE in February to be his only North American appearance that year?

Mark,

Don't know why you can't see it. Try this link - [www.visualwrap.com]

Richard,

You'd have to ask David. But to my knowledge, this is certainly the only rod building event where he'll be appearing and demonstrating the software. I think those who sit in on the demo or visit him in the VisualWrap booth will be amazed at the capability of the sofware.

Richard, David will be coming out in February, and that will be it, I'm fairly certain that with his family, job, and with the cost of travel, he'll only be making one trip to the US for Rod building purposes. Now, if he happens to come back for a slice of Patsy's pizza under the Brooklyn Bridge again, that's another story, lol.

All due respect, Visual Wrap link I found!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saw nothing in reference to VISUAL WEAVE.

Maybe I didn't look very well on the Visual Wrap site, or maybe there is nothing on that site about Visual Weave.
I will look again.

Thank you for your time.

Mark,

The VisualWeave software is just being finished up. David hasn't officially released it for sale just yet.

Most Macs will run any Windows program. But I have no idea what OS you may be running.

G'day!

Mark - The official website will be visualweave.com. It is still under construction. More details will be posted both here and on visualwrap.com as soon as it is available.

Ray - Mac compatibility is to be determined. VisualWEAVE currently runs on Windows. There are a couple of options available for Mac compatibility that are being considered, but I can't make any guarantees.

Richard - 2008 ICRBE is likely to be my only trip next year, but who knows how the year will turn out. You are welcome to visit me here in Australia at any time! lol.

Billy - mmmmmmmmm, pizza :-) Do they deliver to NC? lol

I would assume that David will have copies for sale at the VisualWrap/VisualWeave booth at the ICRBE in February.

I've downloaded the demo from their website and it's truly outstanding. Of course I'm hoping someone will have it on-sale like Mudhole did a few months ago in a combo with Billy's book.

I can't imagine the Weave product will be any less spectacular.

Russ must be referring to VisualWRAP (Cross Wrap Design Software). At this stage no demo has been made available of VisualWEAVE.

Mike - the software has come a long way since the last show. I think you will be pleasantly surprised!

Dave, I'll stick a few slices of pizza in my luggage to share with you, I'm just not promising it will be fresh, lol. Will have a "Tourist Package" for you, including some maps, shirts, and a few fishing related items.
