Several recent posts about repairing broken tips have inspired me to fix a broken rod tip. I have read Ralph O'Quinn's article in the library, and the task seems simple enough. My problem is that I do not have any old fiberglass rods to use. Is there/are there sources where these materials can be purchased? Re: materials for tip repair

Some of the sponsors will sell or give you pieces or you might try garage sales and see if you can come up with some. Getting the correct taper is the big issue. Re: materials for tip repair
