Threadmaster Lite is GREAT!!!

The leveling is incredible, the application is wonderful, no need to pre-heat TML, no bubbles, no alcohol lamp needed, (never used one anyway) very well priced, great thread wrap penetration, and last but certainly not least...the absolute best, most clear, gin-clear-like finish of all.

Thanks Andy, for providing such a fantastic product. See, good things come to those that wait. And this was without a doubt, worth the waiting.

Hats Off To Ya!
Paul

Paul. I agree. I have been using lite and then high build and LOVE them both. Just proof that if a rod builder makes a product he knows ewhat the industry needs not some scientist in a lab some where. Every one of andy dears product have blown me away with there quality so why should this be different. Also if you have questions or suggeswtions about anything he will always make himself available. Thats class. Also Paul that gin clear is what I love too. Other brands have yellowed on me but not tm and i amd slow so theworking time is importent to me and tm gives me the time i need at a affordable price.

I got to use it last week... all I could think while I was putting it on the rod was "Wow". The swifty CP and Threadmaster Lite were a heck of a combo.... the Lite is just like putting water on the rod. Doesn't dry as fast as the regular, but good stuff.

I am still learning, so can someone please tell me the benefits of lite vs the regular? I am building saltwater rods..... I have been using the standard Thread Master finish..... Why would you use lite first and then the regular?

Thanks in advance for your direction.... John

John,

I've used a thinner finish for quite a while as a first coat, and then follow with a high build.

Reasons:

Thread Penetration

Less chance of bubbles, especially on super tight thread areas or long thread areas

Thinner, smoother

Lighter weight

Just to name a few....
