What is you guy's opinion on the Rainshadow CB70M blank for an inshore popping rod for reds & specks? Will be throwing topwaters and soft plastics. Does it have enough backbone w/ softness of tip?

Thanks,
Paul

I'd go up to the MH version and I really like this blank, I use mine for cranks, spinbugs and topwaters, works wonderful.

I've built the Med version and I think it's a litle light for what you're wanting.

I agree with Duane, I think you will be very happy with the CB70MH version over the medium. We have customers using the MH and also another option you may look at is the IP844.
