What's going on with Gudebrod NCP thread? Lately everywhere I try
to buy it is out or stopped carrying it. Even the small 50 yard spools
have been hard to come by. All these places say it's a manufacturer
fault. What's going on???????

Some colors have been discontinued recently. Several that WERE on the discontinued list have made it back into the line-up. In the 1oz "A", "C" & "D" selection, there are only a few colors that we don't have currently. I think there are quite a few more colors being made than Gudebrod's latest online color chart shows.

Some colors that we used to stock in 100YD. spools are no longer being sold under the number that we used to order them under. instead, many are only available in "blister packs", which is a different part#. Same thread, same spool, different packaging & part #. Some dealers have probably not updated their info and are ordering the wrong #'s and getting "no longer available" on their packing lists. It's a little confusing right now to say the least.

We've been trying to get up to date info, but it seems to change every time I turn around. Our last communication showed all of the "B" weight nylon as MIA. Still waiting to hear back if that was a typo, or if it's really done. I was hoping to spend some time with Gudebrod at the ICAST Show this week, but just noticed that they're not exhibiting this year.

I'll add my 2 cents to this - I have the NCP A & C in 100yd. spools and the NCP D in 1 oz. spools- not all colors are available ,as stated above many have been discontinued. If looking for something in particular e-mail me and let me know what color. More information on the size B thread will be available next week.
Thank you,
Karen Hapka
