Booth contracts from Lamar Fishing Products, REC and Acid Rod were in the morning's weekend mail. This brings to 39 the number of manufacturers, exhibitors and vendors who will be attending and displaying at the ICRBE in February. That list will grow a bit more over the next few weeks as we approach the deadline. Over 60 booths have now been sold.
I have been doing a little work on the event website and should have it completely up to date within 2 more weeks. Exhibitors: Donart Scott’s Custom Rods Batson Enterprises (Rainshadow/Forecast) Renzetti, Inc. Stay tuned. There are 2 or 3 more to be added but I haven’t yet nailed down the presenters and complete subject matter. I’ll have them in place by mid June and up on the event website by the end of June. We’ll also have a “Manufacturer’s Product Showcase†taking place in the Atrium featuring new and noteworthy blanks, components and tools. More details on this a bit later. The seminars are free with the price of daily admission ($8 + free parking). There is no additional charge to attend any of the seminars, including those on basic rod building or bamboo rod building. ....................... Last year’s event was the first where we didn’t experience any long lines at the ticket window. Sales of advance tickets no doubt helped this situation but we also have enough folks at the ticket counter and start ticket sales early enough that even with a larger than ever crowd, it was rare that any of the lines got more than 2 to 3 persons deep. Still, advance tickets will again be offered for the upcoming event. Please wait until the end of June to order yours. We will not sell out, and there is no hurry to place advance ticket orders as they will not be mailed to you until the first week of February. ...................................... Admission price will remain at just $8 per day with free parking. Advance tickets are $15 each and cover both days of the event. All seminars are included with the basic price of admission. No additional charge required. ....................................... www.rodexpo.com Edited 3 time(s). Last edit at 07/09/2007 05:37PM by Tom Kirkman.
