A blank can't be 100% graphite
What is it that glues it all together - polyester, urethane, epoxy, ,,, what? What else is in a blank? Re: ingredients

When a blank manufacturer purchases the material to make blanks with, it comes in a prepared matrix comprised of fibers and resin and often referred to as "prepeg." Most graphite blanks use a prepeg containing epoxy resin although some are using a newer thermoplastic type.
I don't think polyester resin has been used much since the days of earlier glass blanks. I don't think it has ever been used with graphite. .............. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
