Hi guys first time to post here but I have done alot of reading, thanks. I have built one rod in the past but used a cheap blank and don't really care for it.
I am planning on buying a 904 sage slt and am trying to decide on the snake guides- I am leaning towards the rec recoil single foot or double foot. I can not find much info on the single foot guides. If I go with the single foot I notice that the sizing is different. sage list the giude size for double foot but not single- any help there I am also a wood turner so I was looking for a good skelecton reel seat so I could make the wood insert. any suggestions. thanks again Bob Re: Guides for a 904 sage slt

Guide sizes are the same, a size 1 is a size one. In the doubles there is the British and US differences you usually only see them in the Hopkins & Holloway guides that Sage uses though. REC, or others like Struble or Bellinger can be brought at the sponsors to the left. Angler's Workshop is one place that caries all 3 brands. Edited 1 time(s).
