EVA Adhesive

Hi everyone,

I have been using U-40 Rod bond exclusively when mounting my EVA and Hypalon grips and really love it. Now I need to glue an EVA butt cap onto an EVA butt grip. Once dry, I am planning on doing a little shaping to make a smooth transition. Is U-40 still the right adhesive for the job ? I would like the transition to look (and feel) seamless. I also have Gorilla glue, Flex Coat, etc.

Thanks, Jeff

Rod bond will work, use it sparingly and don't get any near the eva joint and you'll be fine. If you do get some in the joint wash it out with alcohol and a brush or you'll see a glue joint.

That will work but my choice for EVA to EVA is Contact Cement

My experience with EVA and Hypolon is best to use Contact or rubber cement!! (Both are the same animal)
